The red LED light shows when it's time to replace the refill and battery and the preset program make it easy to use. The smart fan does NOT run continuously but intermittently, gradually increasing the run time over the 30-day period. This creates consistent fragrance. The dry fragrance releases just the right amount of scent without fragrance overload or aerosol residue.
