Need to keep your office floors free of day to day mess? Or to clear away leaves and debris outside? Not all floor sweepers are equally suited to both tasks. Choosing the right broom depends on a few of factors:

Where are you using your broom?
What type of debris will you sweep up?
What type of floors are your sweeping?

OnTimeSupplies.com shows you which brooms will work best for you.

Floor Sweeper Bristles: where are you using your brooms?

Hard Bristle Brooms
Best for: large debris, outdoors

Outdoor Corn Brooms The best outdoor brooms have stiff bristles that do a great job of picking up leaves & other large debris.

Soft Bristle Brooms
Best for: fine debris, indoors

Soft Bristle Brooms Indoor brooms have softer bristles that are easy on floor finishes and great at picking up small debris.

Protect Your Broom Bristles

Rotate your sweeping direction when using your broom. Hang it up when it's not in use. This will help the bristles retain their shape, and miniminze breakage and shedding.

Floor Sweeper Style: what type of floors are you sweeping?

Angle Brooms

Best for: sweeping out hard-to-reach areas, such as corners, under counters and under furniture.

Push Brooms

Best for: sweeping large areas, such as driveways, garages and warehouses.

Carpet Floor Sweeper

Best for: sweeping carpets and hard floors.
