The mechanical pencils are great quality. Name brand BIC , and come full of lead. They write well and so far the mechanics are sturdy.
If you're looking for a really high quality mechanical pencil, this may not be for you, but if you're looking for a pencil that writes nicely, has an eraser that works and that you don't have to worry about if you lose it or a friend "borrows" one, then these are the pencils for you. I purchased these for school and they work just fine. I like to always have extras around and I like the colors that come in the pack.
