I have owned a Canon MX700 all-in-one printer for several years now. I have always used genuine OEM Canon cartridges such as this PGI-5 or PGI-5BK as well as the color cartridges. In all those years only one cartridge gave me any trouble with the ink flow and sensor (telling me it was dry or empty, when it was not). Overall I am very satisfied with print quality, especially with photographic printing when using Canon or other high quality photo paper. Excellent results!

The cartridge installed fine and is printing documents well. Color appears to be correct and I have no complaints. The reason I gave the product a '4' rating is simply because I have not had the product long enough to determine its real features. I like the lower cost of the compatible cartridges, but I sometime find that if I order five or six at a time the last ones uinstalled experience some sorts of drying problems between when I order them and when I install them. I end up throwing out the last one of two, so am I really saving any money? This time I ordered three. If they work out well I will be ordering more, but still in small numbers. I hope I get to review them again when I place the new order and I will adjust the rating up or down as the product deserves.
