How to choose your stainless steel staples.

Every office needs a good supply of stainless steel staples. On Time Supplies carries a wide variety of staples, each staple style designed to work with a specific type of stapler and meet a particular set of needs. While you don't need to put as much thought into your staple purchases as you do when selecting a stapler, there a couple of factors to keep in mind.

  • What type of stapler do you use? Some staplers require or work best with particular staple designs, so you need to know what you're working with.
  • What are your particular stapling needs? For example, do you need your stapled documents to lay flat? Are you assembling booklets? Each staple style offers features that meet particular fastening needs.

First, consider the style of the stapler you own.

  • Desktop and electric staplers: Premium staplers are worth the investment. Not all stapler jams are caused by the stapler, some are caused the the staple itself.  Premium staples prevent jams and frustration.
  • Heavy-duty staplers: Keep staples in a range of sizes to get the most from your heavy duty staplers. The larger the staple, the higher the sheet capacity.
  • Specialty staplers: Specialty staplers often require specialty staples.  Make sure you always have a good supply of the specialty staples you need.

Then, choose the appropriate staple.
