It's the chipboard inside the binder that is made from recycled recycled materials. The chipboard is 100% recycled, with 75% of that being post-consumer. That means 75% of the recycled material comes from thrown away trash that would otherwise end up in landfills. The remaining 15% is from pre-consumer waste from manufacturing processes.
Since the 100% recycled chipboard only makes up about half of the binder, the total recycled content of the binder is 47%. 40% of that is post-consumer, and 7% pre-consumer.
Thank you for your question about Universal Round Ring Economy View Binders.
These rings are mounted on the back cover of the binder. This makes it easier to load paper into the binder, plus the pages lie flat. With center mounted rings, the pages will never lie completely flat.
Hope this answers your question!
The rings for the UNV20962 Economy Round Ring View Binder are vertically positioned and go down the 11" side of the binder. If the rings were on the 8 1/2" side, they would be going across the binder, horizontally.
