HP CF280XC Cartridge: how many printout from 1 Cartrdge?
asked by Amit on May 6, 2014

Hi Amit,

Thank you for your question about HP 80X CF280XC toner.

HP 80X has a page yield 6900. That means it can print 6900 pages. HP calculates page-yield assuming your documets will require ink on no more than 5% of the page. That's a page of double spaced text. The actual number of printouts you get depends on the type of documents you print. Graphics and images use more ink number than text, and lowers the overall page yield.

Hope this answers your question!

Best,
Frankye

The difference between the two toner cartridges is page-yield, or the number of pages a cartridge will print before needing to be replaced. HP 80A (CF280A) has a 2,700 page yield. HP 80X (CF280X) has a 6,900 page-yield.
