Anytime you see a G, or a GSM, or g/m2 after a pro media paper name or in it's description, it refers to the weight of the paper in "grams per square meter". Remember that while the higher the number "usually" also means the "thicker" the paper, it is not always true. Remember GSM is the weight, but the thickness is measured in mil (thousandths of an inch). GSM and mil are two different ways to measure. As an example: Two people can both be six feet tall (thickness), but one can weigh 180 lbs and the other 200 lbs (GSM).
