How do you dispose of the containers?
asked by Will Adams on November 21, 2018
    0 votes

According to the OSHA standard the proper disposal of sharp containers and contents includes either the pick up by a qualified sharps technician or the delivery of the container to an approved "red bag" or medical waste treatment site.

Technicians tested on bloodborne pathogens should then provide you with a certificate of disposal!

How low or high can these be installed in a patient room?
asked by Charlie on November 16, 2018
    0 votes

For a Standing workstation: Recommended you hang the container 52 to 56 inches above the standing surface of the user..
For seated workstation: Recommended you hang the cabinet 38 to 42 inches above the floor on which the chair rests.

These guidelines are suggested to allow easy access and promote an ergonomic work area.
