The size is ergonomic for most people doing high volume strap cutting, other available cutters are too small. We have tried many but these work the best for cutting strapping. They have replaceable blades, a dull blade is #1 reason the head can break, even with the reinforced head. I'm not sure if it was an after market add on, but previously have found this knife for a little higher price with a steel reinforced head. Would like to find them again.
