The desk is blow-molded with a hollow interior, so screws for a keyboard tray may only grip the thin plastic shell and feel weak. A single metal support tube runs under the top and can provide better stability, but there is only one tube. For the most secure setup, a clamp-on or freestanding keyboard tray is recommended.
