According to the manufacturer, Bostitch standard staples are the correct staples for the B440 stapler.
I need staples that fit a Bostich stapler model B440. The staples need to be slightly larger than 1/4". PowerCrown 1/4" Standard Premium Staples, Standard, 1/4" Leg, 1/2" Crown, Holds 20 Sheet(s), for Paper, Chisel Point, Galvanized, Silver, High Carbon Steel, 0.9" Height x 2.3" Width x 4.1" Length
