U-Guard app only works with LAN connectivity. Using my phone outside my home's local network (meaning I use my mobile provider's data roaming internet), U-Guard app can not access the system's live video stream, it will connect with a status of "online" but when you click on it for live video stream, there is no video just message of "Loading..." when you press phone's back button it will show a blank screen, with the options on top, then when you click on speaker there is intermittent audio connection but no video. I've sent several emails to UNIDEN support but only replied after posting after 6 weeks. Uniden support recommended opening my router's firewall. I already did and even directly connected to modem without router and is still the same. I have a Uniden G766 system and that works with my router fine, only problem with G766 is the poor video quality recording which is the reason I wanted an HD system.
