Our office ordered the Swingline 747 stapler for all of our staff and it has worked out great! We really like the durability of the stapler. We work in a rough environment where our office supplies often hit the concrete floor and the Swingline 747 stapler has continued to work even after being dropped. It is rugged and durable and our staff definitely recommends this product. Of course, if you are stapling thick packets then this stapler is not applicable. We use it for stapling packets that are generally 15 to 20 pages thick. I am a mother of 3 kids and I purchased this stapler to have around the house for occasional use. The stapler is definitely not made for heavy use, it feels much lighter than the classic metal Swingline stapler that we all remember.
