I am a mother of 3 kids and I purchased this stapler to have around the house for occasional use. The stapler is definitely not made for heavy use, it feels much lighter than the classic metal Swingline stapler that we all remember. For our use, just stapling a few pages together at a time, here and there, it works just fine. It was a great price and I would recommend it.
