Didn't get it specifically for cooling purposes. Needed something to raise my laptop off the desk just a bit. Had a hard time finding something (most items assumed you would be using a separate keyboard, which is not what I'm doing). One of the CS reps at Ontimesupplies recommended this item to me and I'm really happy with it for my purposes!
piece of junk and poorly dsigned - the lowest setting puts a laptop at such an angle you can't type and the higher settings doesn't even let the computer stay on the stand
