I am a designer and I have quite a few magazines that I need to reference for my trade. These magazine files are very handy and pretty inexpensive compared to the plastic ones. They hold up well and I actually cover mine in fabric to make them look a little more classy/trendy in my office. I usually first cover all the seams/creases with packing tape to make sure that they don't rip, but I'm not sure if this step is entirely necessary.
